Who is responsible
Walk&Coffee is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For anything on this page, write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
The coffee shop you order from also sees your order. Which of us is responsible for what is set out in our agreement with them.
What we collect
- Your phone number, confirmed once by a code we text you, because it is how the coffee shop reaches you about the order. We never ask for your name.
- The confirmation code, stored hashed and only until it is used or expires — minutes, not days.
- Your order: the drinks, the options you chose, the price, the time, and any comment you leave.
- Your IP address, used to limit how many requests one device can make and kept in server logs for a short time.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we need it
To prepare and hand over your order, and so the coffee shop can call you if something is wrong — the drink cannot be made, or nobody came to collect it.
Without a confirmed phone number an order cannot be placed.
Who sees it
The coffee shop where you placed the order sees your phone number, your comment and the order itself on their counter screen. Other coffee shops do not.
We use hosting and database providers to run the service, and an error-reporting service to find failures. They process data on our instructions and do not use it for anything else.
Payment
You pay at the counter. We never receive or store card details.
What your browser stores
Your cart and a link to your current order are kept in your own browser so they survive a reload. They are not cookies and are not sent anywhere except with the order itself. Clearing your browser data removes them.
How long we keep it
Order records, including your phone number, are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD] and then deleted or anonymised. Server logs are kept for [LOG RETENTION].
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and mention your order number, which is on your order page. You may also complain to [SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY].
